These are awesome points for becoming a public speaker. I think the most important is to be 100% prepared on the subject you are talking about. And, practice your whole speech if you can.

One thing I tell people who are new to public speaking or even doing a presentation, is to visualize that everyone but you is naked. It really works and makes you less nervous. Sometimes I even tell the audience I am doing that to get a laugh and loosen things up.

Thank you for this great information.

Thanks for the tips, and I agree with what you said about taking a class on public speaking. I am interested in learning and mastering public speaking myself and I wonder if there are programs online that help people master the skill while at home via Internet. Do you know of a any training course online that I can enroll so I can master public speaking while staying at home? I need to hone this skill because I am planning to shoot Youtube videos for my online business and I think mastering the skill would help me achieve that goal more effectively.

Hi!  You really gave me some things to consider.

When I was younger I took drama and speech in school and college but that was too many years ago

Since then I didn’t keep up my skills and now I have a hard time speaking in public. Through your post, I was reminded of those skills I lost and how I might be able to get them back. Thank You!
